L’Amministrazione Comunale di San Vero Milis , per voce del Sindaco, a mezzo stampa ( Unione Sarda del 7 febbraio 2011 pag.45 ) , ha spiegato che:

Our blog "Pallosu " first (as early as February 6 last) , has brought to general attention ( through a service in satellite television news channel, the world leader in all-news, Sky Tg 24 ) the case of the ghost Camping of Sa Mesa Longa, which was not spoken in years.
In light of the above mentioned, we decided to take the ball to balzo.Per we've presented today, the attention of institutions, associations, public and all citizens (without exception) who care about the future of the Navy San Vero Milis and the Province of Oristano (through a press conference) a proposal (open) concreta per la riconversione dell’area e delle strutture del campeggio (fantasma) di Sa Mesa Longa .
LA PROPOSTA
L’area dove sorgono le strutture fatiscenti e abbandonate del campeggio di Sa Mesa Longa è senza ombra di dubbio la più adatta per la realizzazione di una “ CASA DEL TERRITORIO ”.
Situata ai piedi del promontorio di Capo Mannu (un vero museo a cielo aperto), nella zona retrostante la spiaggia e il sistema dunale di Sa Mesa Longa, a poca distanza da Su Pallosu e dalle zone umide che costituiscono il Sito di Interesse Comunitario “Stagni di Putzu Idu – Salina Manna e Pauli Marigosa", l’area in questione – estesa circa cinque ettari - si presta perfettamente a un utilizzo a fini turistico - culturali.

In particolare la “CASA DEL TERRITORIO” - secondo quella che è la proposta che parte dal blog “Su Pallosu” - dovrebbe costituire un polo d’interesse culturale nel quale esporre le bellezze del territorio; un importante strumento per la raccolta, la conservazione e la valorizzazione turistica del patrimonio ambientale, storico e culturale della marina di San Vero.
La CASA DEL TERRITORIO , pertanto, could provide a structure able to give concrete and daily possibility of knowledge of the area and its history.
