Gilberto Linzas
Amedeo Linzas , can be considered fully in one of the characters that have characterized and animated the life of Pallosu over the past half century. His hut of sedge - known as "Shack knows or de Amedeo Amadeo de Uncle" - in fact, represented a reference point for friends and connoisseurs of sea urchins from the early '70s .

Born in 1935 into a peasant family Riolesi, passion for the sea had blood from a young age, when still a teenager he went to Pallosu (Beach traditionally frequented by Riolesi) and other places to fish marine Sinis urchins, sea anemones and octopus.
Begins Pallosu assiduously in the late '60s for work and, enchanted by this charming place, it will play its "home" adoption.
Men's trusted Mr. Zenobio Espis , which in those years is building his house in the sandy promontory near Punta Tuna (immediately after the home of the Geppetto Corallaro and Gianni Atzori), shoots with his hands a small hut made of sedge, adjacent to the fence on the east side of the villa.

In quegli stessi anni, fornendo prova di maestria e abilità costruttiva (apprese l’arte lavorando al fianco di esperti artigiani), realizza una nuova capanna di falasco, più grande della precedente, situata nella spiaggia few hundred meters further south, where many were already "barracks" including those of Mr. Solis (one of his friends), Serra Uncle, Uncle David, Atzori, Espis, Eraldo Aru and many others (the village of huts was then in full expansion phase).
Following the loss of the boat - you sfascerà in an attempt to pull her to the ground during a terrible winter storm - with more effort devoted to fishing, and particularly that of the rich that, especially during the winter, smooths the family budget. The result is one of the first " arrizzoneris " modern.
Fishing for sea urchins in those early 70s, was practiced by some fishermen and many amateurs with more traditional systems: using a small boat, using a hand-made viewer ( on sprigu ) to see the bottom (no more than two deep - three meters) and a long rod with a fork, fold the end to pull up the curls, or with a rubber diving suit, through the use of " sprigu es'ancaredda up" on the sea floor rock a few meters from shore.
winter weekends, especially on fine days, was particularly intense bustle of the people who were walking by the sea to stay with friends, enjoying the sun e, soprattutto, per assaggiare i gustosissimi ricci di mare, meglio se accompagnati dal pane fatto in casa e dalla vernaccia (o dal vino nero) e allietati da un po’ di musica sarda: Su pallosu in quelle giornate era incredibilmente animata.

The afternoon he spent always smiling in between a chat, a cake and a "vernaccina" with friends and family who invariably came to Pallosu.
Even in other seasons - from spring to autumn - were dedicated to the fisheries sub (mainly octopus and sea anemones) with great passion.
"Uncle Amadeus" did " s'arrizzoneri " until the early '90s . The hut - now almost a pile for the advance of the sea (due to erosion) - was defeated in 1993 after yet another order of the City of San Vero Milis.
In subsequent years, while continuing to attend Pallosu assiduously, I miss it, and could not be otherwise: "Sa Shack" had been the center of his little-big world, and its demolition marks the end of a beautiful long dream.
As for the fishing of sea urchins, unfortunately it must be noted that the last two decades, the use of systems that are not strictly correct (in particular the use of tanks by fishermen coming from other provinces) and the uncontrolled collection have depleted the waters of the coast of Oristano Pallosu and generally putting at risk the marine ecosystem.
